Job Description:
As a pivotal member of the Agile team, the Automation QA Engineer champions quality assurance, spearheading the planning, execution, and automation of software tests within an Agile framework. Your expertise in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) will be instrumental as you collaborate closely with the development team, embodying a proactive spirit and fostering a culture of constructive feedback exchange.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review the acceptance criteria and identify the test scenarios
• Designing and developing automated test scripts
• Develop and implement integration, regression, and system tests for the new features
• Create and maintain test data and the test environment needed for testing
• Log defects and track them
• Conduct exploratory testing as part of every sprint
• Develop automated tests for non-functional testing
• Ensure that tasks are delivered on time and of high quality
Requirements:
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Automation testing.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Competence in C#, adept at utilizing version control systems and adhering to established guidelines.
• Proficiency with Selenium or Playwright;
• Familiarity with design patterns and proficiency in BDD methodology (SpecFlow).
• Proficiency in Acceptance Test Automation with Selenium Webdriver or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in automated API testing.
• Ability to seamlessly integrate automated acceptance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with CI tools such as Jenkins.
