TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST WANTED?

Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to provide world-class assistance to customers of a leading Global Hosting Company. Your role will be to resolve technical issues related to web hosting, internet applications, and services while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with technical inquiries related to web hosting and internet services through phone, email, and chat.
- Troubleshoot and identify the root cause of technical issues, providing clear recommendations for resolution.
- Escalate widespread or critical customer issues to management and ensure timely follow-up for customer satisfaction.
- Accurately document and track all customer interactions using company systems.
- Stay up to date with Standard Operating Procedures and troubleshooting practices, maintaining a 50% or higher success rate on internal knowledge assessments.
- Maintain a professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented approach when handling customer concerns.
- Work effectively in a team environment, responding positively to feedback and striving for continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of customer issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Be available for flexible shifts, including day, night, and weekend hours.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
- Experience with HTML editors (e.g., FrontPage, Dreamweaver) and internet-based applications (web browsers, email clients) is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot email programs, such as Outlook.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- 1-2 years of call center experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems is required; familiarity with UNIX/Linux is a plus.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills.
