We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join a rapidly growing international HealthTech scale-up. You will play a key role in building and scaling automation systems, ensuring the quality of web, mobile, and backend services, and embedding quality practices across the entire development lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven product that helps people live healthier and longer lives.

Key Responsibilities:

– Design, implement, and evolve automation frameworks for web (Playwright) and mobile (Appium) applications, as well as backend services and APIs.
– Build and execute performance and load tests (using tools such as k6) to identify bottlenecks and regressions.
– Leverage AI-driven QA tools and workflows to speed up test creation, coverage, and failure analysis.
– Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in close collaboration with DevOps engineers.
– Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design) to define acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and edge cases.
– Monitor, triage, and track bugs, ensuring data-driven improvement of product quality.
– Champion quality best practices across the full SDLC.

Key Requirements:

– 5+ years of experience in test automation for backend, web, and mobile applications (startup/scale-up experience preferred).
– Strong expertise with Playwright (web) and Appium (mobile).
– Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as k6.
– Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
– Proficiency in programming/scripting to build internal QA tools and frameworks.
– Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to prioritize test efforts based on user impact and product risk.

Nice to Have:

– Experience building custom test tooling to improve QA velocity.
– Familiarity with AI-based QA tools (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Diffblue, GPT-based workflows).
– Knowledge of accessibility, security, or usability testing best practices.
– Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
