SENIOR JIRA/CONFLUENCE ADMINISTRATOR WANTED?

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our client’s team and help drive innovation through expert administration, customization, and optimization of Jira and Confluence at scale.

You’ll help design intuitive workflows, governance frameworks, and integrations with enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, CI/CD pipelines, and identity management solutions. With your skills in automation, scripting, and system optimization, you’ll enhance collaboration, streamline processes, and empower teams to work more efficiently and securely.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration, configuration, and optimization of enterprise collaboration platforms, primarily Jira and Confluence.
• Design and continuously improve workflows, templates, permission schemes, and governance models.
• Integrate Atlassian tools with a variety of enterprise systems, including identity management, ServiceNow, CI/CD pipelines, and observability frameworks.
• Develop scripts and automation for platform management, reporting, and user provisioning (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Carry out data migrations across Jira and Confluence instances.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance optimization.
• Promote best practices for digital collaboration, documentation, workflow optimization, and process automation.
• Ensure compliance with internal security, data protection, and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and business users to support tool adoption and effective usage.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ experience configuring, managing, and supporting enterprise Jira and Confluence environments.
• Strong knowledge of workflow design, automation, permission management, and governance within Atlassian platforms.
• Experience integrating collaboration tools with ServiceNow, CI/CD, Microsoft Teams, or similar systems.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Hands-on experience with data migrations, performance tuning, and system troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with enterprise security, audit, and compliance standards.
• Relevant certifications such as Atlassian Certified, ITIL Foundation, or SAFe are a plus.
