Our client is seeking Operations Engineer / NOC Engineer familiar with MPLS, Transmission technologies and/or IP/SD-WAN/Cloud. Part of the 24/7 Customer Service Center Operations Team, the Operations Engineer is responsible for monitoring and support of Network Infrastructure and Customer Services. Resolving customer network incidents, escalating internally & or to 3rd party suppliers & or vendors, within strict SLAs based on ticket priority, and keeping customer informed during the incident management process.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor network infrastructure (nodes, capacity, access services) using vendor tools
• Manage incidents with urgency (P1: 4h / P2: 8h resolution)
• Troubleshoot across various network technologies
• Update customers regularly on progress and resolution
• Handle customer service requests and review supplier planned works
• Document all actions in ticketing system and maintain internal databases
• Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Sales, Project Management) and external vendors
• Contribute to process improvements and draft Customer RFOs

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or other Computer Networking related field
• 2+ years in network support / operations within a service provider environment
• 24/7 operations experience
• Strong understanding of at least two: OTN, SDH, Ethernet, MPLS, IP (MEF standards)
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus
• Experience with multi-vendor platforms (Juniper, Nokia, Alcatel, Ekinops) is an advantage
• Cisco CCNP, MEF CECP, JNCIA certificate would be considered as a strong advantage
• SD-WAN knowledge is a strong advantage
