We are looking for a Principal Quality Engineer to lead the quality strategy and execution across our next-generation data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Define and implement Quality Engineering and DataOps strategies across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Integration Services, and IDMC.

• CI/CD Integration: Embed automated data quality checks and lineage validation into Azure DevOps pipelines for ADF and Informatica (IICS).

• Resilience Testing: Design failover scenarios (simulated outages, backlogs, and timeouts) to ensure business continuity and alert responsiveness.

• Regression & Reconciliation: Implement snapshot-based reconciliation and data comparison strategies across multi-environment pipelines.

• Governance & Standards: Align quality practices with NIST CSF, DORA, and ITIL v4 frameworks, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Key Technologies:

• Platforms: Microsoft Fabric (Medallion Architecture), Azure Data Lake Gen2, Delta Lake, and SAP HANA.

• Languages: T-SQL (Dev-level), Python, PySpark, Power Query (M), DAX, and XMLA.

• Data Engineering: Azure Data Factory (ADF), Fabric Notebooks, Fabric Data Pipelines, and Informatica (IICS).

• Integration & APIs: REST/Graph APIs, Tibco EBX, and Azure Integration Services.

• QA & Automation: Playwright, Postman, Selenium, and AI/ML-driven testing tools.

• DevOps: Azure DevOps CI/CD and Git.

Qualifications:

• Certifications: ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or equivalent; ITIL v3/v4 Foundation.

• Experience: Extensive leadership in Quality Engineering within Agile/Product-focused IT departments (ideally within financial services).

• Technical Depth: Deep expertise in testing „Medallion Architecture“ and modern Data Engineering solutions.

• Resilience Knowledge: Familiarity with the EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and NIST cybersecurity frameworks.

• AI/ML Innovation: Experience using AI/ML to enhance quality efficiency, defect clustering, and predictive analytics.
