IT OPERATIONS ENGINEER WANTED?
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Operations Engineer to manage and enhance our internal IT infrastructure. You will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring our employees have reliable, secure, and efficient access to the tools they need. This role is critical for streamlining onboarding, maintaining system security, and providing high-level technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide expert-level support via ticketing systems, chat, or email for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Infrastructure Management: Manage user and device accounts within Azure AD (Entra), Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams), and VPN services.
- Endpoint Administration: Maintain and optimize standards for Windows and macOS environments, including imaging, patching, and configuration via Intune.
- Provisioning: Handle the full lifecycle of employee equipment (laptops, desktops, accessories) from configuration to deployment.
- Network Reliability: Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing) to ensure 24/7 uptime.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Platform and Security teams to resolve complex access and security-related issues.
- Documentation: Maintain clear IT processes and asset inventory following ITIL or similar frameworks.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven background in IT operations, system administration, or advanced technical support.
- Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Azure AD (Entra), Intune, and Office 365.
- OS Mastery: Strong knowledge of both Windows and macOS (troubleshooting and configuration).
- Networking Foundations: Solid understanding of TCP/IP (IPv4/v6), DNS, DHCP, and VPNs. Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or Ubiquiti is a significant plus.
- Methodology: Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
- Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
