SENIOR CYBER SECURITY WANTED?
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist to join our team as a Senior IT Security Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of the company’s systems and networks and identifying and responding to potential cyber threats.
Senior Cyber Security Engineer /SIEM Analyst/ InfoSec Engineer/Network Security/
Responsibilities:
• Develop an operating procedure that fits into the developing incident response plan and playbooks.
• Assist with establishing a Risk Process that aligns with the Risk Policy that will feed into the Risk tooling.
• Design, architecture, and building on Security architectures;
• Installation of new versions, patches such as WAF, and AV products;
• Carry out analysis against data gained through security tooling to identify vulnerabilities, trends, and threat patterns.
• Monitor for attacks, intrusions, and unusual, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
• Monitor identity and access management, including monitoring for abuse of permissions by authorized system users.
• Understand the Information Security policies, how they affect the business, and the rules that we need to adhere to.
Required Experience:
• 3-5+ years of IT experience, working with different security tools such as SIEM (Sentinel, Defender, CyberArk), EDR, DLP, FW protection, and AV protection;
• 3-5+ years of experience in IT Security or Network Security Engineer.
• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience producing guidelines and analytical reports.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
• Familiar with OWASP Top 10 practices;
• Deep experience with:
– SIEM (Sentinel, Defender, CyberArk),
– FW protection (such as Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet) and AV protection;
• Experience with MS Defender for End-point and 365 Security Centre.
• Experience SOC Analysis and SIEM tooling and centralized security logging.
• Network security, IDS/IDP, DDoS, or others;
Secondary Technical Skills:
• Familiar with Python;
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/ Azure);
• Experience with Linux and Windows Servers;
• Networking experience;
