OpenStack Engineer
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing OpenStack. You would have the chance to take part in transforming our infrastructure by working with modern open-source solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Design, deploy, and manage OpenStack private clouds.
- Troubleshoot and optimize OpenStack environments.
- Implement and maintain automation tools for cloud provisioning and management.
- Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OpenStack with other services.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Stay up to date with new developments in the cloud computing field.
Requirements:
- OpenStack experience on-premise
- Ansible Kolla experience
- Linux administration experience.
- Proficient with Python scripting and automation.
- Experience with managing and scaling hypervisor technologies at an enterprise level.
- Strong understanding of Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with enterprise hardware in the data center.
- Participate in an on-call support rota.
Nice to have:
- Certifications in OpenStack, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field .
- Experience with Grafana & Prometheus
