PRIVATE CLOUD OPERATOR – VMWARE AND LINUX WANTED?

We are looking for a responsible Private Cloud Operator with a strong technical understanding of Virtualization Technology to support the Cloud infrastructure and the virtualization platform.

Responsibilities:

• Being responsible for handling complex customer issues relating to fulfilment, incident and change management;
• Helping specialists solve incidents and conduct problem/change management;
• Being a central contact person for complex customer issues and supporting of smooth operation of the cloud platform;
• Conducting administrative activities with operating systems (Windows, Linux) in virtualized server environments (VMware);
• Conducting administrative activities with VMWare Cloud Director Handling of virtualization technologies (Clustering, Container Management) and their virtualization dependencies;
• Working with VMware NSX, Cisco ACI and Cisco Fabricpath;
• Coordinating of the technical/operational documentation.

Requirements:

• Deep Virtualization technologies (Clustering, Container Management) experience and their virtualization dependencies;
• Network experience with Vmware NSX, Cisco ACI and Cisco Fabricpath.
• In-depth experience of Linux infrastructure (Clustering, Container, private Cloud);
• Experience in incident management and a solution-oriented approach;
• Broad IT knowledge and understanding of complex relationships to bring about a solution;
• A passion for Cloud Technologies and their technical functionality;
• A high level of process understanding as well as excellent analytical thinking and KPI orientation;
• Experience with ITIL Framework;

Advantage:

• Knowledge of IT Service processes and tools;
