SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER WANTED?
Our client, a leading product company with a strong global presence, is looking for a talented and passionate DevOps Engineer to join their Sofia-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with global operations teams, engineers, and architects to manage and optimize our client’s hybrid infrastructure in the cloud, as well as a large-scale infrastructure that spans over 2000 servers and related resources across data centers, CDNs, and cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and report major service outages and service-affecting activities.
- Participate in on-call rotation schedule.
- Implement and maintain (non-)containerized services on bare metal and in the cloud.
- Maintain and scale infrastructure including compute, storage, and networking resources both in data centers and cloud environments.
- Build CI/CD services for internal teams using tools such as TeamCity, ArgoCD, and Python/Shell scripts.
- Design and build robust log monitoring, infrastructure alerting, and performance reporting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and other monitoring tools.
- Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, System Administrator, or similar roles.
- Availability to work on-call shifts, including weekends.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, particularly CentOS/AlmaLinux.
- Experience with hardware maintenance and software fine-tuning based on the underlying hardware.
- Solid experience with troubleshooting and infrastructure monitoring.
- Expertise in containerization and cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and GCP.
- Familiarity with configuration and provisioning tools like Chef, Terraform, Crossplane, Helm, and ArgoCD.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/TeamCity and proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, etc.
- Strong understanding of performance monitoring and end-user experience.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach and strong sense of ownership.
