We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Security Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team. The role involves embedding security within the DevOps lifecycle to ensure a secure software development process. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to implement best security practices, protecting applications and infrastructure while maintaining efficiency in delivery and deployment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in CI/CD and GitOps principles
Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python)
Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies
Experience with SIEM integration
Expertise in Kubernetes security hardening
Deep understanding of vulnerability management and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM)

Key Responsibilities:

Securing containerized environments, covering image creation, registry management, image signing, and vulnerability scanning
Strengthening Kubernetes security through RBAC, network policies, admission controls, and control plane hardening
Enhancing CI/CD security pipelines (a plus)
Implementing runtime security for containers, including indicators of compromise (IoC), drift detection, and security context enforcement
Monitoring security events and conducting investigations

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or software development, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to security engineering
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or relevant DevSecOps certifications are a strong advantage
Analytical & Communication Skills:
Ability to analyze complex security challenges and provide effective solutions
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
