SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER WANTED?

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join a global technology-driven company specializing in IP/MPLS backbone design, automation, and service optimization. This role involves designing and configuring high-performance networks, collaborating with development teams to automate network services, and providing technical support for complex customer issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure a global IP/MPLS backbone to enable new services.
- Develop low-level designs (LLD) for major network changes with detailed diagrams and documentation.
- Maintain network consistency by updating documentation and ensuring base configurations align with design standards.
- Collaborate with service assurance teams to enhance network monitoring and proactive issue detection.
- Support capacity management by tracking utilization and executing migrations.
- Act as Level 3 escalation for network outages and complex customer issues.
- Assist technical sales and service delivery teams with high-value bids and complex orders.
- Participate in network automation development, writing technical stories for automation tools.
- Contribute to troubleshooting guides and best practices for network operations.
- Follow change control processes and adhere to industry standards (RFCs).
- Provide on-call support as part of a rotation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a telecommunication service provider environment.
- Strong expertise in IP/MPLS, BGP, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Juniper and/or Nokia routers.
- Knowledge of Junos OS, Juniper Contrail, Nokia 7750 SR, Nokia 5620 SAM, SNMP polling platforms.
- Experience with network automation tools is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting skills using test equipment and network analysis techniques.
- Ability to solve design and operational problems and plan complex upgrades.
- Industry certification such as JNCIP or JNCIE, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with optical transport networks is a plus.
