TELECOM RESEARCH ENGINEER WANTED?
Talent Hunter, a specialized recruitment agency, is seeking on behalf of our client an experienced Telecom Research Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop solutions by applying established research methodologies, as well as learning and adapting new approaches
- Conduct research and analysis of cyber threats and potential attack scenarios in telecom environments
- Translate security expertise into product features, enhancements, and security updates
- Monitor trends in the cybersecurity landscape; review technical articles, research papers, and industry publications to stay current with advancements
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and external partners
Requirements:
- Strong background in Core network elements (HLR, HSS, SMSC, MSC, MME, PGW, GGSN, SGW)
- Solid understanding of 3G, 4G, and 5G SA networks, including Voice and Data services
- In-depth knowledge of signaling protocols (SS7, DIAMETER, GTP)
- Good understnding of encryption algorithms and security protocols (TLS/SSL)
- Familiarity with networking protocols: TCP, SCTP, SCCPa
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of operating system architecture, particularly UNIX
- Experience administering diverse network and server infrastructure
